Solid mahogany surround with period radius mould along with solid mahogany sides and curved base. The base has a curved door with small catch which works fine. The original polished brass bezel with period glass surrounds the signed painted dial. 
 
The 8 day spring driven movement made by the well known W&H manufacturer has had a full clean and service and is guaranteed for 1 year from date of sale.
 
A lovely piece as the dial has maintained its original painted work with the case holding a nice patina. 
A good classic example of an antique school/dial clock.
