Solid oak quarter sawn trunk door with decorative brass escutcheon sits above quarter sawn, cross banded oak panel. Quarter reeded columns with wooden turned capitals.

The lock has been replaced at some stage but is in fully working order.

Razor edge base with square quarter sawn, cross banded panel.

DIAL

Original painted dial has been professionally restored.

The dial has both arabic and roman numerals with subsidiary seconds and roman calendar.

The name is an unusual feature as it is decoratively painted within scroll and adorned with a delicate pink and brown floral pattern. The photos of the dial do not do the colour and the patina justice.

The hands have been replaced by myself as they were both missing.

The clock is 8 day striking on a bell and has been professionally restored by A W Firth Restorations of Derbyshire.
